Please complete the following steps during the IT Configuration Session to ensure your Apple device is properly configured for use at the Kenan-Flagler Business School.
If you have any questions or run in to any trouble with these instructions, please raise your hand during the IT Configuration Session and someone from IT will be around to assist you
You will access pretty much everything relating to the business school by going through the Kenan-Flagler Intranet page.
The URL for the Kenan-Flagler Intranet is https://home.kenan-flagler.unc.edu
Kenan-Flagler IT recommends that you bookmark this website and memorize it.
Most students have probably already completed this step. If so, please continue on to step 3.
If you have not yet created your Onyen account...
1. Visit https://Onyen.unc.edu

Follow these instructions to set up eduroam on your Apple device:
***If you are already on UNC-Guest, you do not need to connect to UNC-Setup first. You simply need to pull up the https://wifi.unc.edu/ website and follow the instructions***
If you are unable to configure and connect to eduroam for some reason, please feel free to contact the Kenan-Flagler IT Helpdesk, the UNC ITRC, or just set up our other wireless network, UNC-PSK. Instructions for configuring UNC-PSK can be found on the same page under the UNC-PSK section.
You should have a sheet of paper in your folder (MBA students) or you received an email that contained your Kenan-Flagler username and temporary Kenan-Flagler password. You will need to change this temporary password before you can use it to access many of our services.

5. Follow the given instructions to enroll in Password Station (set up your secret questions) and then change your password
*** You will use the temporary password you were given when it asks for your "old" password***
You can return to this page if you ever need to change your password, if you need to unlock your account, or if you have forgotten your password and need to reset it.

You will need to use some of the programs found in the Office
2010/Office 2013/Office 2016 software suite for your classwork. The
closest compatible version for Apple is Office 2016 but it may not be
able to complete all the functions or use all of the add-ins you will be
required to use in class, especially with Excel Add-ins. If you do not
currently have a version of Office 2016 that includes Word, Excel,
Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access, students may receive a free copy of
Office 2016 from http://software.unc.edu.
When you order a free download of Office from UNC Software Acquisition,
you will receive one email confirming that your order has been placed
and then you will receive a second email that actually contains a link
that will allow you to download Office.
***Please be patient as it may take a couple hours before you receive the second email***
